In mechanical engineering, there are many types of NSK bearings, but there are only three types of NSK bearings used in radiator products according to their basic working principles: sleeve bearings using sliding friction and ball bearings using rolling friction And the two bearing types mix these three.In recent years, major radiator manufacturers have introduced new technologies in bearings, such as magnetic bearings, fluid protection system bearings, hydraulic bearings, Laifu bearings, and nano-ceramic bearings. These basic bearing forms have also been improved. , The basic working principle remains unchanged.

1. Oil bearing

It is a sleeve bearing that uses sliding friction and uses lubricating oil as a lubricant and drag reducer. During the initial use, it has low operating noise and low manufacturing cost. However, this type of NSK bearing is seriously worn and has a long life span compared with ball bearings. Moreover, this kind of bearing has been used for a long time. Due to the oil seal (it is impossible to use high-grade oil seals in computer radiator products, usually ordinary paper oil seals), the lubricating oil will gradually volatilize, and dust will enter the bearing, causing the fan Problems such as slower speed and increased noise can cause severe vibration due to eccentricity of the fan caused by bearing wear. When these phenomena occur, either open the oil seal and refuel, or just eliminate and purchase a new fan.

2. Single ball bearing

It is an improvement of the traditional NSK oil-impregnated bearing. It adopts the form of mixing sliding friction and rolling friction. In fact, it uses a ball bearing with an oil-impregnated bearing to reduce the cost of the double ball bearing. Its rotor and stator are lubricated with balls. , And matched with lubricating oil. It overcomes the short-lived and unstable operation of oil-bearing bearings, while the cost increase is extremely limited. Single ball bearings absorb the advantages of oil-impregnated bearings and double ball bearings, and increase the service life of the bearing to 40,000 hours. The disadvantage is that after the balls are added, the operating noise is increased, but it is still less than that of double ball bearings.

3. Double ball bearing

It is a relatively high-end NSK bearing that adopts the form of rolling friction and uses two ball bearings. There are several tiny steel balls in the bearing around the axis. When the fan or the axis rotates, the steel balls will follow. Because they are all spheres, the friction is small and there is no problem of oil leakage. The advantage of double ball bearing is its long service life, which is about 50000-100000 hours;

Good anti-aging performance, suitable for fans with higher speed. The disadvantage of double ball bearings is the high manufacturing cost and the highest noise at the same speed level. Double ball air bearings and hydraulic bearings have better sealing properties, especially double ball bearings. The double ball bearing is completely embedded in the fan, and the rotating part is not in direct contact with the outside world. In a sealed environment, the working environment of the bearing is relatively stable. Therefore, almost all large-diameter fans at 5000 rpm use double ball bearings. New technology bearings

1. Laifu Bearing

As an improvement of traditional oil-impregnated bearings, Laifu bearings use wear-resistant materials to make high-oil-impregnated hollow bearings, which reduces the friction between the bearing and the shaft core. Laifu bearings also have shaft cores with reverse spiral grooves and oil retaining grooves. When the fan is running, the oil will form a reverse flow, so as to avoid the loss of oil, thus increasing the bearing life. Laifu bearing fan adopts the above structure and parts, so that the oil content and oil retention capacity are greatly improved, and the noise is reduced.

2. Fluid protection system bearings

The patented products of ADDA, a well-known radiator and fan design and manufacturer, are also made from a number of improvements on the basis of traditional oil-bearing bearings. The fluid protection system bearing and hydraulic bearing can be said to have the same goal in different ways. The two designs each adopt some unique improvement measures, but the essence is the circulating oil system, and the performance in all aspects is basically the same. Usually the product life can reach more than 50,000 hours.

3. Hydraulic bearings

It is a technology pioneered by AVC and improved on the basis of oil-impregnated bearings. Hydraulic bearings have a larger oil storage space than oil-containing bearings, and have a unique loop-back oil supply circuit. The operating noise of the hydraulic bearing fan is significantly reduced, and the service life is very long, reaching 40,000 hours. The hydraulic bearing is still essentially an oil bearing. However, this kind of improvement has greatly extended the life span of ordinary oil-sealed bearings, and inherited the advantages of oil-impregnated bearings-low operating noise. At present, hydraulic bearings have been used in AVC radiators, but not all AVC radiators use hydraulic bearing fans.

4. Vaporized bearing

It was developed by Sunon to improve the magnetic levitation technology, which is to strengthen the hardness of the bushing of oil-impregnated bearings, and use special materials. The inner surface of the bearing is also specially processed, which overcomes the shortcomings of oil-impregnated bearings that are not high When combined with magnetic levitation technology, the service life is greatly extended.

5. Magnetic Bearing

The magnetic induction line is perpendicular to the maglev line, so the shaft core and the maglev line are parallel, so the weight of the rotor is fixed on the running track, and the almost unloaded shaft core is used to support the anti-maglev line to form the entire rotor Hang in the air, on a fixed orbit. Therefore, magnetic levitation is actually only an auxiliary function, not an independent bearing form. Specific applications have to be matched with other bearing forms, such as magnetic levitation + ball bearing, magnetic levitation + oil bearing, magnetic levitation + vaporized bearing and so on. 6. Nano ceramic bearings

In essence, it is still an oil-impregnated bearing, which was first introduced by Foxconn in its products. Traditional oil-bearing fans wear more severely during use, and their reliability during long-term use is low. Nano-bearing effectively overcomes this problem: ceramic bearing technology uses special polymer materials and special additives to fully fuse, the core of the bearing is fully made of special halo dioxide materials, using die and sintering processes, and the crystal particles are 60um in the past. Down to 0.3um, it has the characteristics of firmness, smoothness and wear resistance. Nano-ceramic bearings have strong high temperature resistance and are not easy to volatilize, which greatly extends the service life of the fan. The properties of nano-ceramic bearings are similar to ceramics, and the more they are worn, the smoother they are. According to tests, the average service life of fans using nano-ceramic bearings is more than 150,000 hours. This technology is actually not a real nanotechnology, and the materials used are not real nano-level materials. It just uses the word nano to attract attention.
